I tried the woodwicks but the flame is very very low. It almost looks like the candleft will go at any moment. I have not tried soaking them. Will try that and will update.

I tried the wood wicks and I think the large one is too big for my 20cl glass. The flame is burning so high and it gets to full pool in about 20 mins and I can’t smell the candle till I blow out the candle. Is there any way to fix this?

Hi I have an 8oz jelly jar From candle science. I used a large wood wick and the first night the throw seemed so strong. It looks like it’s about to go out. Should I use a different size?

Where can I buy the BEST wooden wicks? I was buying from the Flaming Candle and have had several complaints that they don’t easily light or relight.

I, like you, have found that the large wooden wick seems to burn so much longer in my candles too. Remarkably so actually. This is the first holiday season that I am introducing the wooden wick in our some of our seasonal collection

Hi I just tried my first wooden wick and noticed that the wick split in two while burning. Anybody had this problem? Or is it just the type of wooden wick?

In reply to Shauna. Raye, so sorry I didn't get notified of your comment! The fragrance throw was very good with the wooden wicks. I usually let them cure 48 hours or more before testing.

Q: When you tested the wooden wicks, do you recall how well it performed with respect to fragrance throw?
Q: How long do you typically allow your soy candles to cure before you test them?

Did you have to prep these wicks at all? I have been reading posts saying to soak in olive oil and another that said to soak in wax and yet others that say nothing about soaking.
